Terletak ±60km di sebelah utara Kota Palembang, memiliki akses ke laut
Akan dihubungkan oleh infrastruktur jalan nasional, jalan tol, pelabuhan kargo, pelabuhan laut dalam, rel kereta

KEK TAA dikelola oleh BUMD yang bekerjasama dengan sektor swasta dan publik. PT SMS ditunjuk sebagai BUMD melalui Perda Provinsi Sumsel Nomor 11 Tahun 2017

Import Duties, Value added Tax & Sales Tax

on Luxury Goods, Excise and Income Tax

Import Duties :

From import duties for importation of machinery, goods and material for industry construction and development in the framework of investment

Income Tax :
- Investment Allowance :
- The compensation on loss is extended from 5 year to 10 years maximum
Tax Holiday :
- Tax exemption for 5 – 10 years after the commercial production (100% realization and having Permanent Business Permit (IUT)

Value Added Tax (VAT) and Sales Tax on Luxury Goods :

Uncollected :
- imposed on importation or re-importation goods to bonded zone in order to export activities
- imposed on exportation goods from bonded zone to other bonded zones or other place within custom territory
Exemption :
- Imposed on exportation goods from Free Trade Zone and Bonded Zone
Excise :
- Exemption : all the goods are raw materials or auxiliary materials production in the manufacture of goods which are not the end result excisable goods
